We are delighted to announce that the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research LIVES has been renewed for a second four-year period, from 2015 to 2018! The centre's life expectancy has simply doubled... There is no longer any doubt, that with our solid foundations, we are building a long-term centre of expertise on human vulnerability within the context of life course. This research centre must make contributions to reflections and practices in Switzerland and extend its influence internationally.

Ce pôle de recherche doit nourrir les réflexions et les pratiques en Suisse et rayonner internationalement.

 The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) has just awarded 14.5 million francs to the National Centre of Competence in Research LIVES for a second four-year phase. Thanks to this vote of confidence, the teams of the Universities of Lausanne, Geneva, Berne and Zurich will be able to continue the longitudinal studies which were initiated in the first phase. This is an essential follow-up in order to obtain quality scientific outputs.
>>> MORELe Fonds national suisse de la recherche scientifique (FNS) vient d’octroyer 14.5 millions de francs au Pôle de recherche national LIVES pour une deuxième phase de quatre ans. Grâce à cette marque de confiance, les équipes des Universités de Lausanne, Genève, Berne et Zurich vont pouvoir poursuivre les enquêtes longitudinales initiées dans la première phase. Un suivi essentiel pour déboucher sur des constats scientifiques de qualité.
>>> PLUSDer Schweizerische Nationalfonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung (SNF) hat soeben dem Nationalen Forschungsschwerpunkt LIVES 14,5 Mio. Franken für die zweite vierjährige Phase zugesprochen. Dank dieses Entscheids können die Teams an den Universitäten Lausanne, Genf, Bern und Zürich die in der ersten Phase begonnenen Längsschnittstudien fortsetzen. Die Weiterführung ist unerlässlich, um hochwertige wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse zu erzielen.
